Roby Thrivers is a weekly support group that helps people to try out and explore recovery options for mental wellness.  Through facilitated self help exercises and guided group work, we look at areas such as time, healing, creativity, support networks, and other areas that can help individuals to feel emotionally and mentally healthy in their lives.  Thriving is more than surviving – it’s about becoming empowered to make positive changes that help us to embrace wellness.

The group is suitable for people with anxiety and depression as well as those who are experiencing severe and enduring mental health conditions such as schizophrenia or bipolar.  It is also useful for those who wish to maintain a healthy level of mental wellness in their lives.

Roby Thrivers is based on “The Thrive Approach to Mental Wellness” by Dr Mike Smith and Marion Aslan, a radically positive and innovative take on the Recovery Model.
